- The candidate must be class 12th passed with PCM from a recognised board with an aggregate of more than 60% or a candidate must be a B.Sc graduate with more than 60% marks either in Physics, Chemistry. But, the candidate must have studied Physics for at least one year.
- In both of the above-mentioned cases, the candidate must have scored more than 50% marks in English in class 12th.
- The age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years.
- The candidate must have perfect eyesight and no colour blindness.
