About JEE Main 2021 (April & May Session)
NTA is expected to confirm the exam date of JEE Main April & May 2021 by the last week of June. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will officially announce the exam date through his Twitter handle. The online registration for JEE Main May 2021 will begin after the confirmation of the exam date. In all probability, the exam is likely to be conducted in August and September. Only 25 days gap expected between the last two phases of the entrance exam.The old question papers of JEE Main are available for download in PDF format. JEE Main 2021 syllabus remained unchanged, and the questions in the entrance exam will be from the entire syllabus. This year, JEE Main has some changes, and the Paper 1 (B.Tech) exam is being conducted four times, i.e., February, March, April, and May. Paper 2A & 2B (B.Arch & B.Planning) is being conducted in Phase 1 & Phase 4. The phase-wise exam dates of JEE Main 2021 are as follows: -

The exam pattern of JEE Main 2021 has been revised, and the candidates will have 90 questions now out of which 75 questions have to be answered. However, the choice will be given in only Section B of each subject, which means out of 10 Numerical questions, the candidates will have to answer any 5. On the other hand, JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in 13 languages. This year, the applicants have been given an option to register and pay the exam fee for any phase of JEE Main 2021 at a time. On the other hand, the application window will re-open after the conclusion of each phase. Applying for multiple phases will be an advantage to students so that they can improve their percentile in the JEE Main 2021. JEE Main is a popular national-level engineering exam, which is conducted for admission to premier engineering colleges across the country. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the authority to conduct the JEE Main 2021 exam, and the exam is being conducted four times a year. It has also notified that the JEE Mains merit list will be based on the percentile scores. Organized in four phases - Paper 1 & Paper 2 (2A, 2B), candidates can appear for JEE Main exam four times every year to get admission in the premier National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the prestigious Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) as well as other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). Students can use the best score out of the four slots for admission to engineering colleges in India. The programmes offered by these institutions are Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech)/Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)/Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan).
